Job Details: Job Description: In this position, you will be part of a site environmental team and will be responsible for the development, co-ordination, continuous improvement and management of site environmental programmes, such as hazardous and non-hazardous waste, waste water, air emissions, noise, refrigerants, groundwater and management systems etc. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Playing a key role in ensuring compliance with the site's Industrial Emissions Licence and ISO14001 standard. This includes review of compliance results/trends, environmental management system elements including awareness/training, documentation, environmental management programme projects etc., incident investigation and root cause analysis. Understand how all environmental programmes work by supporting all Environmental Engineers at the site with a view to becoming a primary owner for environmental media programmes, with additional responsibility as secondary owner for other programmes. Analyze EHS data, identify trends, and help define key focus areas for continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications You must possess a third level qualification (NFQ level 8) in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering or a NFQ level 8 in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. 8+ years relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications Ideally semiconductor experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders on environmental topics. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate information. Detailed knowledge and understanding of environmental legislation and practice - experience dealing with the EPA. Wastewater management experience advantageous. Proficiency in data management/Excel. Ability to present and explain environmental data to both technical and non-technical forums. Ability to work effectively within a team environment with minimal supervision. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Practical experience with EHS management systems. Annual Salary Range for this job which could be performed in Ireland is: €59,200.00 - €111,300.00 The compensation range displayed in this posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education, training. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may include additional pay components and benefits. Your recruiting team will share the confirmed base salary along with any applicable total compensation elements upon employment offer delivery.
