This position reports to: Sales and Marketing Director PAEN MX __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the digital business for ABB Energy Industries in Mexico across the entire value chain, serving Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power, and Water industries. Ensure profitable growth, relentless execution, and business-led collaboration in alignment with the Local Division and Energy Industries Business Area strategy. Accelerate adoption of ABB's digital portfolio with strong local industry contextualization. Set and implement the local digital strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Act as the digital face of ABB Energy Industries in Mexico, creating stronger customer value propositions and acting as the bridge between customers and the global digital and R&D organization. Ensure high standards of integrity, cybersecurity, and governance across all digital projects. Nurture local industry partnerships for stronger Go-To-Market (GTM) execution. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Automation Energy division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for: Defines and implements the local digital strategy and roadmap for Energy Industries in Mexico, aligned with global and regional ABB strategy. Relates ABB's digital portfolio to customer business outcomes with strong, industry-specific value propositions. Partners with sales, business development, and account management teams to drive digital pre-sales and solution expertise. Develops compelling, winning proposals for the full digital portfolio in the energy market. Acts as the digital face of ABB Energy Industries for key customers in Mexico. Builds and maintains trusted relationships with customer decision-makers across C-suite and operational levels. Provides expertise and guidance to project teams to ensure successful delivery of digital solutions. Qualifications for the role Bachelor degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field). MBA or advanced business/digital degree is a plus. Minimum 10+ years of experience in industrial digitalization, automation, or energy industries. Proven track record in selling or delivering digital solutions for Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power, or Water sectors in Mexico or Latin America. Experience with at least several of the listed digital solutions (APM, APC, MES, Cybersecurity, AI/Analytics, etc.). Strong network with key industry players in the Mexican energy market (PEMEX, CFE, CENAGAS, etc.). Experience working in or with matrix organizations and global teams.
