This position reports to: Finance Manager __ Your role and responsibilities As the Local Division FP&A Manager, you will lead the financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting function for the local division, and will partner closely with local division leadership, business line managers and controllers to drive financial performance, provide strategic insights, and enable data-driven decision-making. You will also lead and develop the local FP&A team, including fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digitalization. In addition to this role, it will also take financial controller of one mid-segment company, you will be accountable for financial, commercial operation and risk management of company business, including the development of financial and operational strategy and monitoring of internal control systems designed to preserve business assets and report accurate financial results. This position is reporting to Local Division controller, graded as GGS 11. The work model for the role is: {onsite} This role is contributing to the {finance division/function} in {Xiamen, CNABB}. Main stakeholders are {ELDS}. You will be mainly accountable for: Key Responsibilities of FP&A manager: Financial Reporting & Governance: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial reports for the local division, ensuring alignment with ABB group standards and policies. Review and validate financial data, business information, and reconciliations prepared by the team. Present financial results and commentary to local division leadership and key stakeholders Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting and rolling forecasting process for the local division. Coordinate with business line and product line managers to gather inputs and consolidate financial plans, ensure forecasts reflect business realities and challenge assumptions where necessary Financial Analysis & Business Partnering Drive in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance review to provide actionable insights to management. Identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance. Digitalization & Process Improvement Champion automation and digitalization of FP&A processes, leveraging tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query. Drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning, and analysis processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop the local FP&A team, set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career growth Key Responsibilities of financial controller of one mid-segment company: Responsible for the financial planning of the company's overall strategy; organize and prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts; monitor the execution process, conduct variance analysis, propose improvement recommendations, and drive cross-departmental initiatives in support of strategic objectives. Participate in the company's business decision-making by providing professional analysis and decision support from financial, capital, risk, and tax perspectives. Develop a deep understanding of the business model and drive the integration of financial management with business development; provide data models and decision-making support for product pricing, contract review, and project decisions. Oversee accounting operations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and group-related policies, as well as accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance; coordinate the annual audit process to ensure its smooth completion. Establish, improve, and continuously optimize the company's internal financial control system, compliance management processes, and risk control framework. Lead the establishment and implementation of the company's comprehensive budget management system; monitor budget execution and conduct variance analysis. Optimize the cost control system; drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement through deep engagement with business operations to directly enhance the company's profit margins. Actively promote the digital transformation of finance and build a comprehensive, multi-dimensional data platform. Prepare relevant materials and coordinate work for the company's Shareholders' Meeting, Board of Directors, and Board of Supervisors. External relationship management: establish and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities, banks, accounting firms, and other external parties. Qualifications for the role Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related. Work Experience: 5+ years of team management experience. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Proficient in Chinese Accounting Standards, fiscal and tax regulations, and familiar with sales-related business processes, contract management, and credit control Experience with SAP ERP systems and latest MS office tools and functionalities Fluency in English – written & spoken Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
