Job DescriptionJob Summary** The Manufacturing Specialist 1 - Material Plan & Execution at GE Parallel Design Inc. will be responsible for supporting the planning, procurement, and execution of materials required for manufacturing operations, ensuring timely availability and optimal inventory levels. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient production flow and meeting customer demands. Job Responsibilities** * Assist in developing and implementing material plans based on production schedules and forecasts. * Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocks. * Generate and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for manufacturing materials. * Collaborate with suppliers to track order status, resolve discrepancies, and ensure on-time delivery. * Support the coordination of material movement within the manufacturing facility, including receiving, storage, and issuance to production lines. * Participate in root cause analysis for material-related issues and implement corrective actions. * Maintain accurate material data within the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning and logistics processes. * Adhere to all company safety and quality standards. Job Qualifications** * High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. * 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or materials planning role. * Basic understanding of inventory management principles and manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. #LI-ONSITE #LI-NS2 We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
