Job Description SummaryAs a Molecular Imaging (MI) Clinical Development Specialist, you will serve as the clinical lead supporting one of GE HealthCare’s premier academic research partners, Stanford University, with a focus on advanced molecular imaging and Total Body PET technology. In this highly visible and impactful role, you will partner closely with clinical, research, and physician stakeholders to optimize imaging workflows, improve clinical performance, and support cutting-edge research initiatives. You will also act as the clinical “voice of the customer,” collaborating with global engineering, scientists, and product teams to influence product development across the lifecycle. This is a remote role requiring significant onsite presence at Stanford in the Palo Alto, CA area. Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary clinical liaison supporting Stanford University, partnering with technologists, physicians, and researchers to drive clinical and research excellence in molecular imaging. Lead image quality improvement, workflow optimization initiatives, and operational efficiency projects to maximize the performance of GE molecular imaging systems (PET/CT and SPECT/CT). Support and advance Total Body PET imaging programs, helping to optimize utilization and enable research innovation. Partner with GE HealthCare engineering teams by providing clinical insights to guide development of new hardware, imaging techniques, and post-processing solutions. Facilitate site evaluations and support Work-In-Progress (WIP) technologies in collaboration with GEHC scientists and research partners. Act as the clinical “voice of the customer,” ensuring clinical needs, risks, and usability considerations are incorporated into product development and lifecycle decisions. Assist with customer concerns, investigations, and provide clinical recommendations that lead to effective product solutions. Develop clinical competitive intelligence to support commercial teams with insights, differentiation, and customer engagement strategies. Operate effectively within a dual-embedded environment, balancing GE HealthCare priorities with customer site expectations and priorities. Work EnvironmentThis role requires a high level of onsite engagement, with a primary focus on the Palo Alto, CA (Stanford) area. Candidates should expect to spend significant time embedded within the customer’s clinical and research environment while also maintaining flexibility to work remotely as needed. Travel within the territory will be required via multiple modes of transportation. A company car will be provided if eligible. Required QualificationsCertified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or global equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in molecular imaging, including clinical applications and hands-on procedure performance Prior experience with GE Molecular Imaging systems strongly preferred Strong understanding of clinical workflows, imaging protocols, and optimization strategies Ability to present complex clinical and technical material to diverse audiences, including technologists, physicians, and researchers Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer-facing environment Self-driven, creative, flexible, and highly organized Experience or exposure to research environments or clinical studies is highly valued Willingness and ability to travel as required Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $156,000.00-$234,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
