Help Shape the Future of Cancer Care We are looking for a Research Scientist to join our Eclipse development team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced radiotherapy treatment planning technology used by clinicians around the world. You will work on algorithms, optimization methods, and software development for the Eclipse Treatment Planning System. The position offers the opportunity to solve challenging problems at the intersection of medical physics, mathematics, optimization, and software engineering while contributing to products that help improve cancer treatment. We are primarily looking for someone with strong experience in algorithm development who can quickly take ownership of complex technical challenges. Your role: Develop and improve radiotherapy treatment planning algorithms. Research, design, and implement new optimization methods and algorithmic solutions. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and delivery. Collaborate closely with software engineers, physicists, researchers, and quality engineers in an agile development environment. Support product releases by helping where needed and working collaboratively across team boundaries. Contribute to technical discussions, innovation activities, and continuous improvement of our treatment planning solutions. Your expertise: MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong programming skills in C++. Solid understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, optimization, or scientific computing. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Fluency in English language, both written and spoken. Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience with medical imaging, radiotherapy, medical device software, or other regulated software environments. Experience with C#, .NET and WPF.
