DESCRIPTION: Lead supply chain operations for Thermo Fisher Scientific, overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery of products while maintaining the highest quality standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support the company's mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives while cultivating a culture of operational excellence and customer focus. REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles • Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field • APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent preferred • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred • Experience leading Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes • Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and supply chain planning tools • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities • Experience developing and leading effective teams • Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills • Excellent communication and presentation abilities • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in life sciences/pharmaceutical industry preferred • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix organization • Demonstrated success implementing supply chain initiatives • Experience with inventory optimization and demand planning • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools • Strong project management capabilities • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $141,800.00–$200,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
