Job Description: Summary & Purpose of the Position The CZ&SK Value Access and Corporate Affairs Manager leads the development and execution of integrated value access, pricing, reimbursement, corporate affairs, public affairs and institutional affairs strategies across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The role secures, sustains and expands patient access to Ipsen’s portfolio by combining evidence-based payer engagement, strong health-economics capabilities, proactive policy shaping and disciplined stakeholder management. As a key member of the CZ&SK Leadership Team, the role acts as a strategic partner to the Country Lead, Business Unit Managers, Medical Affairs and regional/global Value & Access teams, ensuring that access priorities are translated into clear business decisions and external engagement plans. The position strengthens Ipsen’s reputation and institutional presence in CZ&SK by connecting market access, public affairs, patient advocacy, policy engagement and field access execution into one coherent agenda. The role directly leads two positions: Value Access and Public Affairs, and Field Market Access Manager. Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies Lead Integrated Value Access Strategy & Execution • Define and execute the CZ&SK value access strategy in alignment with Ipsen’s global, regional and local priorities. • Develop access strategies that integrate clinical evidence, health economics, real-world evidence, patient needs and business priorities. • Anticipate healthcare policy, funding and reimbursement trends in both countries, translating them into proactive access scenarios and action plans. • Drive early access, case-by-case reimbursement and full reimbursement pathways where relevant, ensuring clear governance, risk assessment and business alignment. Field Access Execution & Stakeholder Engagement • Ensure strong connection between national access strategy and account-level field access execution. • Guide the Field Market Access Manager in identifying local access barriers, payer dynamics, hospital-level opportunities and account-specific action plans. • Translate market access priorities into clear field execution priorities, KPIs and governance routines. • Support cross-functional account planning where market access, medical, commercial and business excellence inputs need to be aligned. • Use insights from the field to refine access strategy, stakeholder engagement and policy priorities. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Partnership • Act as a strategic partner to the Country Lead and CZ&SK Leadership Team, providing value access and external environment insights that inform portfolio strategy and commercial decisions. • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs to integrate scientific evidence, real-world evidence and patient insights into access and policy discussions. • Support Business Unit Managers in developing access narratives, launch readiness plans, payer engagement strategies and risk/opportunity assessments. • Ensure alignment between local, CEA, EMM, global access, corporate affairs and brand teams. • Contribute to disciplined business reviews, governance forums and business cases with clear access assumptions and executive-level recommendations. Team Leadership & Governance • Lead, coach and develop the CZ&SK Value Access and Public Affairs team, creating clear accountabilities, priorities and development plans. Pricing, Reimbursement & Health Economics • Lead or oversee pricing and reimbursement strategy, submissions, renewals and negotiations with relevant authorities, payers and insurance funds. • Ensure high-quality HTA submissions, budget impact analyses, cost-effectiveness models and value dossiers, in line with payer expectations and internal governance. • Build strong payer narratives that clearly articulate clinical, economic and societal value. • Benchmark competitor pricing, reimbursement and access strategies to inform Ipsen’s positioning and scenario planning. • Provide recommendations to the Country Lead and Leadership Team on access risks, opportunities, pricing decisions and business cases. Corporate Affairs, Public Affairs & Institutional Affairs • Develop and implement an integrated corporate affairs, public affairs and institutional affairs agenda for CZ&SK, in collaboration with regional and global teams. • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key institutional stakeholders, policy makers, health authorities, trade associations, patient organizations, professional societies and relevant public platforms. • Position Ipsen as a credible, constructive and responsible voice in healthcare policy discussions relevant to access, innovation, rare diseases, oncology and neuroscience. • Identify and shape emerging legislative, regulatory and policy topics that may impact patient access, reimbursement, funding pathways or healthcare delivery. • Coordinate external engagement and communication initiatives that strengthen Ipsen’s reputation, institutional visibility and long-term policy influence, always within compliance standards. • Additional qualification in Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Health Policy, Communications, Market Access or Business is a strong plus Experience • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Market Access, Pricing, Reimbursement, Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs and/or Institutional Affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. • Proven track record in pricing and reimbursement strategy, payer engagement, HTA submissions, business cases and access negotiations. • Strong understanding of the Czech healthcare system, reimbursement pathways, policy environment and payer dynamics; understanding of the Slovak healthcare environment is a strong plus. • Demonstrated experience in policy shaping, institutional stakeholder engagement, patient advocacy and trade association work. • Experience leading people directly or through matrix leadership, with the ability to coach, prioritize and build a high-performing team. • Strong strategic, analytical, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear business recommendations. • Native Czech speaker and fluent in English; Slovak language capability is a plus. #LI-LN1 We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported; where we embrace “The Real Us”.
