This position reports to: Local/Hub Division Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Automation Measurement & Analytics products and services within the Mining segment, in alignment with the division’s strategy. You will play a key role in developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and promoting innovative measurement solutions to support mining operations. ach day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role is contributing to the Measurement and Analytics business area, supporting mining operations across Argentina’s Andean region, mainly in Salta, San Juan, Jujuy and Tucumán. You will be mainly accountable for: Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy. Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers. Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed. Qualifications for the role You are immersed in the mining industry and highly skilled in the sale of measurement instrumentation solutions, including pressure, flow, level, temperature, pH, conductivity, turbidity, and sodium measurement technologies. Ability to demonstrate 5+ years of experience in sales of instrumentation solutions for the mining industry (ideally 5–10 years of total experience), with proven knowledge of mining processes and customer needs within this sector. You possess technical knowledge in instrumentation, with an academic background as an engineer or Technician (ideally with knowledge of Chemistry and Electronics). You are passionate about building strong customer relationships and are recognized for your collaboration, empathy, communication skills, and autonomy abilities. You are at ease communicating in English at an intermediate level. You are willing to travel approximately 60–70% of the time to support customers and mining operations across the region.
