This position reports to: Service Sales Support Manager __ Your role and responsibilities You will play an important part in the Local Division EL Service's ongoing development in Italy, contributing to the growth of an integrated Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) support team. You will provide technical and commercial support across the Low Voltage service portfolio, helping customers maintain the reliability and performance of their existing LCM breaker installations while identifying opportunities for modernization and upgrade projects. On a daily basis, you will support the development of service proposals and work closely with the Sales team throughout the customer lifecycle, from supporting installed legacy LCM breakers through our service offerings to assessing and recommending modernization solutions when appropriate. Acting as a trusted technical partner, you will help customers make informed decisions by identifying the most suitable solutions within the EL Service portfolio, while ensuring alignment with ABB's service standards, business objectives, and customer needs. In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Support the preparation of technical and commercial Low Voltage (LV) service proposals in line with customer requirements, local business guidelines, and Sales priorities. Contribute to cost estimation and pricing activities to ensure competitive and sustainable offers. Provide technical support during customer meetings, presentations, and discussions related to LV service solutions. Share product and application knowledge with Sales teams, partners, and channel organizations through training and day-to-day support. Analyze installed base data and customer requirements to identify suitable service, modernization, and upgrade opportunities. Contribute to the definition of technical solutions, including applications that require a customized approach. Support the use and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and practices related to LV service activities. Collaborate with colleagues across regions to share experience, lessons learned, and best practices. Contribute to the achievement of sales and order objectives by supporting proposal activities and helping improve offer quality and responsiveness. Support profitable growth across the assigned LV service portfolio and markets. Qualifications for the role Experience in technical sales support, sales engineering, LV product portfolio, or similar technical and customer-facing roles. A background in preparing technical proposals, supporting commercial activities, cost estimation, or service solution development is considered an advantage. Experience with Low Voltage or electrical product portfolios is preferred. Good understanding of Low Voltage products and applications, including circuit breakers, switchgear, modernization solutions, and lifecycle management practices. Ability to develop technical and commercial proposals, analyze costs, and support solution selection based on customer requirements. Familiarity with quotation tools, configurators, ERP/CRM systems (such as SAP, Salesforce, or similar platforms) is considered an asset. Ability to understand customer needs and evaluate service and modernization opportunities. Interest in market trends, competitive offerings, and value-based solution positioning within the Low Voltage service environment. Experience working with pricing tools, quotation systems, or commercial support processes is welcomed.
