The Director of Site Services, Strategy & Enablement will serve as a strategic architect for the Indianapolis Site, translating Roche's global mission into local operational excellence while strengthening our impact on patients, customers, and employees. This highly visible, senior leadership role offers the opportunity to design and execute innovative site strategies, lead a high-performing customer-focused organization, and represent Roche as a trusted partner within the Indiana business community—all while building the operational infrastructure that accelerates progress from vision to measurable outcomes. The Opportunity Develop, execute and maintain long-range strategic planning in collaboration with global standards, identifying opportunities that drive impact and experience locally, regionally, and globally while translating organizational strategy into actionable business goals for a high-performance, customer-focused site organization. Direct all site facility and business services in support of the annual business plan and longer-range strategic master plan, engaging senior leaders and driving operational effectiveness through improved technology, data analytics, and digital tools. Develop annual and rolling 5-year strategy and site experience budgets with full oversight for spending management, cost reduction identification, and optimization of the site projects portfolio. Build and maintain strategic relationships across local and global functions and external community resources, positioning Indianapolis as a strong corporate partner with local, state, and federal organizations while representing Roche's interests and values. Partner closely with campus user groups and Procurement to ensure service providers deliver optimal value, proactively negotiate superior services, and evolve service models with agility in response to customer feedback and evolving business needs. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure efficient operations, providing coaching, training, and opportunities for skill development while fostering a culture of inclusion, agility, excellence, and transformational leadership. Serve as the Process Owner for Site Applications and business services, evaluating and implementing emerging technologies while developing, sharing, and adopting technical innovations, KPIs, and benchmarking information across the global sites network community. Who You Are Minimum of 15+ years of related experience, including 10+ years of Site Operational management or business management experience in a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry, with demonstrated progressive management and leadership responsibilities. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (Master's degree in business or relevant professional field preferred). Proven experience creating and driving strategic initiatives with demonstrated business agility, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to identify and solve complex problems while managing departmental budgeting and resource utilization. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and gain credibility and respect from stakeholders across all organizational levels (from employees to executives) and within regulated environments. Demonstrated ability to interact and collaborate effectively across all functions and levels of the global organization, as well as with diverse external groups (procurement, contractors, attorneys, consultants, government officials, service providers, and community organizations). This role is eligible for relocation benefits. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $166,600 - $309,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
