Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology (EP) produces a broad range of innovative products and solutions used primarily by health care professionals in the Cardiovascular field. Within the Commercial Operations & Strategy team, the Contract Performance & Compliance Manager is responsible for assessing contract performance and management, ensuring commercial strategies, contracts, and business practices are executed in full alignment with company policies, regulatory requirements, and healthcare compliance standards. They will partner with Contracting and commercial leaders in the development and implementation of contract compliance processes. This individual will also support business activities to ensure compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Government (GCC) and other requirements relating to pricing and contract compliance. This role partners closely with Legal, Health Care Compliance (HCC), and Commercial teams to proactively identify risk, inform and operationalize feasible and compliant commercial programs, and drive consistent contract governance across the contract lifecycle. Contract Compliance works in close collaboration with Field Sales, Marketing, Contract Strategy & Administration, Customer Support, and other partners such as Marketing, Finance, and Accounting. Key Responsibilities · Act as a key advisor on compliance implications of commercial programs, contracting, and pricing decisions. · Lead compliance reviews of commercial contracts to ensure adherence to internal policies, HCC, and regulatory requirements. Drive action items to completion. · Implement and facilitate contract compliance governance and lead business reviews with Commercial/Sales Leadership. · Lead development, implementation, and stewardship of contract performance reports including meeting with field sales and commercial leaders to actively manage customer agreement commitments. · Accountable for Commercial Operations steps within the Administrative Fee and Rebate processing; including but not limited to GPO, IDN, incentive sales agreements (ISA), and site-specific contracts. · Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and pricing risk; ensure appropriate risk allocation. · Collaborate with various business partners in automation of compliance reports. · Leads wide range of business support including analysis, creation of sales tools, dashboards and project management for business unit(s) required to enable business decision support and program administration. · Escalates and resolves complex compliance or legal issues in partnership with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders · Support audit readiness and compliance monitoring activities · Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency while maintaining compliance standards · Provide training and guidance to commercial stakeholders on compliant commercial programs and contracting practices. · Promote best practices and ensure understanding of contractual obligations and compliance expectations. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting preferred. MBA or master’s degree preferred. · A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Contracting, Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or related business required. · Medical device or MedTech experience highly preferred. · Highly effective communication skills with the ability to make the complex simple. · Ability to convey and present information using clear, concise, and tailored communication approaches that will provide Leadership with details around risks, issues and resource needs. · Successful collaboration and cross-functional team leadership experience in a matrix organization supporting customers/field is required. · Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines and knowledge of other requirements relating to commercial programs, pricing committees and contract compliance. · Strong computer skills and knowledge of various programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Power Apps in particular), SAP or equivalent ERP system, is required · Strong project management and analytic skills is required. · Strong level of ownership and drive for meeting and exceeding expectations. · Strong attention to detail and passion for accuracy.
