We are seeking an experienced and strategic Medical Affairs Lead (Oncology) to lead our oncology medical strategy in Malaysia across solid tumours and haematology. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping scientific strategy, driving launch readiness, and strengthening external partnerships to improve patient outcomes. Your Impact As Medical Affairs Lead, you will: Lead oncology medical strategy across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with patient needs, healthcare priorities, and global strategy Drive launch excellence by shaping scientific narratives, identifying unmet needs, and integrating patient journey insights Advance precision medicine through biomarker and companion diagnostic initiatives Oversee early access & evidence generation, ensuring compliance and strong scientific governance Build trusted partnerships with key opinion leaders, academia, and healthcare institutions Act as a senior medical advisor, influencing cross-functional decisions across medical, regulatory, and commercial teams Ensure compliance & scientific integrity, adhering to GSK policies, industry codes, and local regulations Develop talent, coaching and leading Medical Affairs team members Why this role matters You will play a pivotal role in bringing innovative oncology therapies to patients in Malaysia, strengthening access, improving diagnostic pathways, and ensuring evidence-based decision-making across the healthcare ecosystem. About You We are looking for a leader who combines strong scientific expertise with strategic thinking: Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences (MBBS/MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) ~5+ years’ experience in Medical Affairs, oncology is preferred Strong background in solid tumours and/or haematology oncology Proven experience in launch readiness, stakeholder engagement, and scientific strategy Experience in biomarker/diagnostics initiatives or early access programs is highly valued Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills High ethical standards with strong understanding of compliance and governance Skills Digital Fluency, Enterprise Thinking, External Stakeholder Management, High Impact Communication, Launch Excellence Why GSK?
