Project Role : LLM Model Developer Project Role Description : Fine-tunes Large Language Models with emphasis on instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation to enhance model relevance and performance in specific contexts. Must have skills : Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), Python Frameworks, AWS; Sql; MLOps Concepts Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Data Scientist along with Large Language Model Development experience, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve the accuracy and contextual relevance of the models. The workday includes analyzing model outputs, iterating on fine-tuning strategies, and collaborating with various teams to align the models with project goals and user needs. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation to ensure the models perform optimally in diverse applications and environments. Roles & Responsibilities: - Own complex modeling tasks and advanced analytical workstreams. - Design modeling approaches and feature strategies for non-trivial business problems. - Define data quality standards and wrangling approaches for complex analytical workstreams troubleshoot and resolve non-trivial data issues that impact model performance. - Optimize and validate ML models ensure robustness, stability, and performance across scenarios. Act as a technical reference point for the team - Provide technical guidance and code reviews to junior and mid-level team members. - Contribute to stakeholder discussions with deep analytical insights and recommendations. - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the development and implementation of fine-tuning strategies for language models to meet project requirements. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster skill development and innovation. - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate model improvements into production environments. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and assisting with technical challenges. Professional & Technical Skills: - Advanced Python - Advanced ML knowledge - SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. - Strong feature engineering and model evaluation expertise. - Strong analytical communication — ability to translate complex results into business language. - Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS). - Data access (e.g., S3) - Model development and deployment understanding - Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments - Experience working on Analytics or Data Science solutions in the CPG domain - Familiarity with AWS SageMaker or similar managed ML platforms. - Experience building data cleaning and transformation pipelines. - Familiarity with MLOps concepts (model monitoring, retraining pipelines).
