Build, run, and validate migration scripts and processes to ensure data quality and consistency. Must have skills : Looker Studio Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves managing the entire data migration process by carefully extracting data from source systems, transforming it to meet the requirements of the target environment, and loading it accurately. The role includes building and executing migration scripts, monitoring the migration workflow, and validating the results to ensure data integrity and consistency. Collaboration with various teams to coordinate migration activities and troubleshoot any issues that arise is also a key part of the daily routine, ensuring smooth and successful data transitions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and migration objectives. - Document migration processes and maintain clear records of data transformations and validations. - Monitor and troubleshoot migration workflows to promptly address any discrepancies or failures. - Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration tasks. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Looker Studio. - Experience in designing and executing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. - Strong analytical skills to validate data quality and ensure consistency throughout migration. - Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to build and run migration scripts efficiently. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner. - Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
