About the Team The DACH Enterprise Sales organization is at the heart of Workday's growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Our team of senior leaders drives the enterprise sales mission across the region, helping customers transform the way they manage their people and finances. This full-time position will be based out of our offices either Munich, Berlin or can be home-office based across Germany. You will report directly to our Group Vice President (GVP) Sales of the DACH region. What makes this team special is the combination of ambition and camaraderie. About the Role As an Executive Assistant, you will be the trusted right-hand person and provide high-quality, day-to-day support to the to the GVP leading the DACH region, as well as supporting the 4 senior sales leaders across Germany and Switzerland. This is far more than a traditional assistant role, it is a unique blend of executive support and program management. You will be the person who ensures that the DACH sales leadership team runs smoothly and efficiently, anticipating needs and creating the conditions for success. Your work will span a wide range of high-impact responsibilities: Executive Support and Calendar Management: Manage complex schedules, coordinate travel arrangements, and handle correspondence for multiple VP-level leaders across two countries, ensuring priorities are aligned and time is used effectively. Strategic Project Management: Plan and deliver key regional programs such as leadership visits, bootcamps, return-to-office initiatives, and new hire orientation camps — owning timelines, coordination, and follow-through from start to finish. Executive Briefing and Presentations: Create polished executive briefing decks and presentations that help leaders prepare for customer meetings, internal reviews, and regional events. Full Event Management: Own end-to-end event planning including catering, hotel bookings, evening events, customer invitations, speaker coordination, and executive preparation — ensuring every detail reflects the Workday experience. Administrative and Operational Support: Provide logistical support to the office and German field organization, including managing incoming communications, dispatching correspondence, and coordinating with internal teams on market-related activities and customer events. Health, Safety, and Security: Support the office manager with environmental health and safety matters, including assisting with safety regulations, first-aid coordination, and identification verification processes. About You We are looking for someone with multitasking abilities, exceptional social and project management skills. A successful Executive assistant will have a proactive demeanor to provide senior-level executive support and managing schedules. Workday is a fast growing company, and the Executive Assistant will need to handle ambiguity and multiple priorities. The utmost confidentiality is imperative, as you will be working on critical projects and will be privy to confidential information. Basic Qualifications 4+ years of experience in an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or office coordination role, ideally supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment Experience managing complex calendars, travel, and logistics across multiple senior leaders Completed professional education or equivalent practical experience Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal), with the confidence and poise to interact with C-level and senior executives and adapt your communication style to different audiences Other Qualifications Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with the ability to create executive-quality presentations and manage information across multiple tools and platforms AI literacy, with the ability to pioneer smart, AI-driven executive support as your ultimate force multiplier to automate workflows, optimize scheduling, supercharge operational efficiency and to become a tech-forward partner to our GVP Detail-oriented and accurate, with the ability to manage complex information, spot inconsistencies, and maintain a high standard across documents, events, and communications Skilled in time management and independent work, with the ability to manage competing priorities, see projects through to completion, and deliver high-quality results with minimal oversight Adaptable and composed in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, stay focused under pressure, and bring a solutions-oriented mindset to new challenges A collaborative team player, with the ability to build positive relationships across functions, contribute to a supportive team culture, and work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization If you are located in Munich or Berlin, we expect you to be in the office 50% of the time. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc.
