As a Director, Marketing - Allergy & Lens Care supporting US Vision Care Product Marketing & Management team, you will be trusted to be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of marketing efforts for the Allergy and Contact Lens Care Portfolios, with strong histories of growth backed by category-driving brand strategies, executions, and investments. This is based out of our Fort Worth, TX office. In this role, a typical day will include: Leads our Integrated Business Planning and Long-Range Strategic Planning processes, including partnering with Global Franchise and Cross-Functional Leadership to set and align goals, target audiences, portfolio funding needs, and operational/executional plan Guide, coach, and support a multi-level team of high-performance marketers to ensure they meet or exceed their development and business objectives Ensure team is actively managing budget and resources to maximize efficiency and measure ROI / investment contribution to growth Partner with Strategy & Insights team to track key metrics, identifying areas of strategic and tactical optimizations Model collaboration by partnering agencies, sales, operations, regulatory, legal, medical, customer service and others to ensure efficient activation Motivate and lead multiple agencies to collaboratively develop and execute best-in-class creative and go-to-market plans Ensure consistent delivery of branding and messaging across a complex multi-channel marketing plan Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills to regularly presents plan and performance to Sr. Leadership Exhibit proficiency in analytical skills, financial acumen, and intellectual curiosity by leveraging data and dashboards to tell a story of business performance and as basis for decision making Develop a deep understanding of market, industry, and customer/consumer dynamics Partners with Strategy & Insights team to develop and align learning plan, insight identification, and insight translation to business-driving action WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs.; Assoc.+14 yrs.; M.S.+7 yrs.; PhD+6 yrs.)
