Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will Manages marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the defined industry segment(s), for the assigned area and ensures that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. Develop and implement a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales. Promotes and improves business-led collaborations between divisions and regions within the designated market segment. The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Building business to be based at Peenya Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for: Develops and executes industry segment strategies, ensuring effective market presence and competitive positioning. Realizes profitable growth through increased market share, innovation, and portfolio expansion initiatives. Defines and monitors key business targets (volume, pricing, portfolio mix) to meet goals. Ensures business plans are effectively implemented with high execution standards and delivery models. Qualifications for the role: 8–10 years of experience in direct sales and sales management, currently working as a Sales Manager specializing in low-voltage products and solutions for Building Segments. Proficient application knowledge across residential, commercial, institutional buildings, and airport projects. Proficient in business development, account management, and cross-selling to promote growth. Skilled in contract negotiations, risk management, and understanding commercial and legal terms. Proficient communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset. Holds a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with solid technical and market knowledge. Proficient in English and Hindi, with a professional and collaborative attitude.
