This position reports to: Planning & Fulfillment Specialist __ Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Mebane, NC. You will be mainly accountable for: Submitting material transfer requests to the warehouse team for kitting and production needs. Creating and staging production order packets for released work orders. Monitoring material shortages, update shortage reports, and coordinate with purchasing to expedite customer orders. Developing, maintaining, and adjusting daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet deadlines. Collaborating with purchasing, inventory, engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve material and scheduling issues. Assisting with capacity planning and production forecasting to support future manufacturing demands. Ensuring material availability and proactively addressing any anticipated material discrepancies. Maintaining compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the planning process. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency. Demonstrating strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills to meet production planning goals. Qualifications for the role:High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment Working SAP knowledge Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Practical experience with computers and applicable software.
