Department: IAMP, Hub China, Marine Engineering Reporting Line: Engineering Manager Company: CNAUS Location: Shanghai Kang Qiao Tasks: Sales HandoverAttend project handover meeting, review all technical documents and clarify all deviations. Identify risks and opportunities. Basic EngineeringAcquires initial data from stakeholders. Prepare project engineering document list and submitting schedule plan together with Project Technical Manager or Project Manager. Prepare engineering templates / references. Prepare / Attend external kickoff meeting, prepare question list to meeting and finalize the meeting minutes / action list. Attend basic technical review, follow up action list. Detailed EngineeringMonitors the compliance of the engineering processes to operating procedures e.g. classification society’s rules and other standards. Guides design works and design changes (Project Manager takes responsibility if the change is requested by Shipyards or Owner, and have impact on schedules or (and) costs) Check project documents status and organize documents delivery. Answers technical questions from stakeholders. Organizes and leads project technical reviews and prepare review reports and action list. Follow up design freeze plan and document approval status. TestPrepare FAT procedures and check list Pre-check, pre-test in test lab or factory site, finish internal quality control document Attends FAT, support customer during test, organize punches discussing and prepare FAT minutes of meeting FAT punches clearance follow-up CommissioningPrepare as-built updates Participates in kickoff meeting with commissioning team and prepare for technical handover. Provides technical support of critical issues for commissioning. Prepare final documents and software archive. Warranty SupportJoin the warranty case studies if required. Update engineering documentation or software Collect site final test results Update final documents / software QualityJoin quality improvement projects. Support to engineering templates maintenance Project lesson learns sharing Quality issue capture from project engineering Requirements: Electrical & Automation (Marine), Bachelor or Above.
