The PositionThe Opportunity As a Maintenance Specialist, you will perform essential Industrial, Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on specialized electro-mechanical equipment used in our manufacturing process. Working under direct supervision, you will utilize technical skills to diagnose equipment issues, complete modifications, and support equipment validations to ensure minimal downtime and full compliance with quality objectives. Troubleshoot and diagnose industrial, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on non-functioning manufacturing equipment using layout plans, blueprints, and diagnostic tools. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and rebuild complex electro-mechanical machinery according to operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or technical drawings. Perform preventative maintenance and routine corrective tasks according to detailed procedures, precise schedules, and standardized company workflows. Execute equipment modifications, including the installation, validation support, start-up, and eventual decommissioning of manufacturing systems. Provide technical set-up support for manufacturing production areas and offer emergency call-in support for off-hours operational needs as required. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment histories to ensure complete documentation and data compliance. Continuously improve operational efficiencies by adapting procedures and potentially utilizing predictive maintenance technologies and techniques. Who You AreHigh school diploma or equivalency required (Associate degree or equivalent military training preferred). 4+ years of related operations or manufacturing experience (documented experience troubleshooting industrial, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems is preferred). Technical aptitude in dismantling, repairing, and assembling machinery using specific tools, test equipment, and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve standard mechanical or electrical questions and follow standard procedures. Basic computer skills and competency utilizing standard systems for documentation and tracking. In-depth knowledge of company policies, safety protocols, and a strong commitment to maintaining quality systems. Must be available to work the dedicated shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday, from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. This is an on-site position. Relocation benefits are not approved for this posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $51,500.00 - $95,700.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this link.
