We are seeking a Senior Manager, Americas Regional Marketing for our Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing (CSD) business to lead a team of Regional Market Development Managers and work collaboratively with our sales teams (direct and channel partners), Product Management, Global Market Development, Medical Affairs, Sales Training, and other functional leaders to achieve annual sales targets through best-in-class marketing. This role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities and implementing regional marketing campaigns and programs that increase brand awareness and generate high-quality sales leads. The Senior Manager will contribute to the marketing and commercial strategy across the Clinical NGS portfolio by partnering with Global Marketing and Product Management to develop regional go-to-market strategies aligned with the Division's strategic business initiatives and overall business objectives. The role will also work closely with Commercial Leaders and adjacent business divisions across the Americas to ensure strategic alignment and accelerate growth. Requirements Solid understanding of the NGS market, including customer segments, workflows, sales channels, and competitive landscape Demonstrated ability to bring the voice of the customer into the organization and maintain a strong customer-centric mindset Strong business acumen with the ability to take decisive action and drive positive outcomes Creative, courageous, and willing to challenge the status quo while recognizing opportunities and learning from setbacks Proven ability to influence and lead change within a large, matrixed organization Strong understanding of product differentiation and positioning to generate demand and drive sales Experience using market, customer, competitive, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions Expertise in campaign strategy and execution, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, messaging, and performance measurement Experience engaging sales teams, channel partners, customers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through marketing programs, training, and support Strong experience with multi-channel marketing and digital marketing strategies Ability to travel up to 25% as required Responsibilities Define regional market trends, customer journeys, buying processes, customer needs, and growth opportunities. Develop regional marketing strategies and tactical execution plans across the Clinical Sequencing portfolio to support Division objectives. Design regional marketing campaigns in partnership with Global Marketing and execute them across the Americas. Ensure accurate tracking, measurement, and reporting of all regional marketing activities, with accountability for marketing-generated leads and contribution to regional revenue targets. Monitor campaign performance against defined metrics and optimize programs to improve business results. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Market Development Managers. Attract, retain, and develop top marketing talent while fostering employee engagement and building a best-in-class team culture. How Will You Get Here? Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant marketing experience, or an advanced degree (MBA, Marketing, Engineering, Genomics, Life Sciences, or related field) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience. Marketing experience within Life Sciences, Genetic Analysis, or Clinical Diagnostics. Preferred experience includes:Familiarity with academic, clinical, biotechnology, government, commercial, and translational research customer segments. Strong knowledge of NGS and alternative genomic technologies across multiple platforms. Solid understanding of the clinical diagnostics market, with emphasis on oncology and reproductive health. Minimum of five years of marketing experience with a proven track record of developing talent and building successful demand generation campaigns. Demonstrated success collaborating across functions within a large, complex organization. Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate dynamic market conditions. Proven ability to identify commercial opportunities and develop innovative customer-focused marketing programs. Strategic thinker with the ability to articulate a compelling vision and inspire others. Comfortable making objective, data-driven decisions while balancing quantitative and qualitative inputs. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex scientific and business concepts clearly. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and strategic partners. Demonstrated ability to manage, prioritize, and successfully execute multiple initiatives simultaneously. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00–$175,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
