This position reports to: Project Operations Manager __ Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in ABB Longmeadow in Johannesburg . You will be mainly accountable for: Leading the execution of complex projects and ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) Btech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and Project management qualification. Project Management experience in the Electrical Engineering field – minimum 8 years. Strong communication skills and an excellent command of English language Professional Project Management Certification from PMI, desirable.
