DESCRIPTION: As a Senior Director of Sales at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will support revenue growth and market leadership across our innovative portfolio of scientific products and solutions. You'll guide a high-performing commercial team while developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets. Working in a collaborative matrix environment, you'll partner across divisions to deliver exceptional value to our customers in healthcare, research, and industry. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer through our industry-leading technologies and solutions. REQUIREMENTS: • 10 years of relevant experience in life sciences, materials sciences, or related technical industries • Preferred Fields of Study: business, science, engineering or related field • Strong record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and supporting profitable growth • Experience leading and developing large sales teams in a matrix environment • Strong business acumen with P&L management experience and ability to develop/execute commercial strategies • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain KOL customer relationships • Excellence in sales operations including forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills • Strategic thinking with ability to analyze market trends and competitive dynamics • Experience working with multiple sales channels including direct, distribution, and e-commerce • Effective talent management skills - recruiting, developing and retaining team members • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and divisions globally • Proficiency with sales tools, CRM systems and business analytics • Travel up to 50% required
