Position Description: Alcon is seeking an intern to support on site health, safety, and environmental programs at the Fort Worth, TX location. This position provides hands-on experience in occupational health and safety, environmental compliance, incident prevention, risk management, and site HSE initiatives. The intern will assist with data collection and analysis, inspections, training, employee engagement activities, and continuous improvement projects. Alcon interns will have the opportunity to not only gain industry experience and network with other Alcon professionals. Key Responsibilities: Analyze data sets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement within HSE Support HSE and project management activities including planning, tracking, and reporting progress Partner with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate data into actionable insights Assist with process improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving approaches Prepare reports, dashboards, or presentations to communicate findings clearly Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver results within timelines Minimum Qualifications: Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op. Must be pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field. Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0 Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects) Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated) Ability to commit to work full time (40 hours per week) for the entirety of the fall semester Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team-based environment High attention to detail together with an ability to understand the big picture Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Superior time management and prioritization skills Independent worker and self-starter High proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage Equal Employment Opportunity: Alcon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.
