Interventional Cardiology Therapies is a vital component of the Medtronic Cardiovascular portfolio consisting of three therapies; coronary, renal denervation and structural heart. We are seeking a Program Manager to join the Quality organization supporting the Renal Denervation (RDN) Capital Equipment Generator Program. This highly visible technical leadership role will manage Quality workstreams across a large, complex Product Development Process (PDP) program. You will partner with the Core Team and cross-functional leaders to integrate Quality deliverables into the overall program plan, driving alignment, prioritization, and execution across key development activities. You will facilitate effective planning, identify and manage risks, help teams navigate challenges, and enable creative problem-solving to achieve program objectives.” Working across engineering, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing and operations teams, you will ensure Quality deliverables stay on track, risks are managed proactively, and development activities meet high standards of quality and compliance. This position is in Mounds View, MN. within the Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) operating unit. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. Medtronic walks the walk, creating an inclusive culture where you can thrive. A Day in the Life In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Engineering Program Manager role. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Manage Quality program activities for the Renal Denervation Capital Equipment Generator Program, ensuring deliverables are executed effectively throughout the product development lifecycle. Create and maintain integrated Quality plans aligned with PDP milestones, actively managing schedules, dependencies, technical risks and resource needs. Work closely with the Core Team and functional leaders to embed Quality activities within the overall cross-functional program plan. Coordinate technical Quality activities that support development, ensuring alignment across engineering, regulatory and manufacturing teams. Plan and coordinate Design Verification activities, ensuring strategies, timelines and deliverables support overall program objectives and timelines. Support Design Transfer readiness with Manufacturing and Operations to support successful commercialization, ensuring cross-functional alignment and timely resolution of readiness gaps. Facilitate cross-functional technical reviews, identify risks and dependencies, support prioritization and decision-making, and drive timely issue resolution through collaboration and influence. Track Quality program performance using key metrics, providing regular updates on progress, risks and mitigation plans to Quality and program leadership Ensure Quality deliverables comply with Medtronic product development processes, Design Controls and applicable regulatory requirements. Build strong partnerships across Systems, Software, Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to deliver complex technical milestones. Improve Quality program execution, planning practices and cross-functional collaboration while supporting delivery of an innovative capital equipment platform. Communicate program priorities, progress, risks and key decisions clearly to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Key Skills & Experience Demonstrates advanced expertise in the field, with broad and in-depth knowledge typically gained through a combination of higher education and relevant experience. This expertise is typically developed through advanced academic qualifications and professional experience. Product development and program delivery: Experience working on large, complex PDP teams, including planning technical workstreams rather than simply tracking project schedules. Capital equipment and systems expertise: Strong understanding of capital equipment and system-level development, with appreciation of the interfaces between software, hardware, and mechanical design. Cross-functional leadership: Ability to lead through influence across multiple engineering disciplines and collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment. Qualifications – Must Have - Minimum Requirements TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE BE SURE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math and minimum of 5 years of technical work experience OR advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, or math, with 3 years of technical experience.
