Job Description EEMEA Regional Commercial Lead Oncology The Regional Commercial Leader (RCL) for Oncology shares accountability with country teams for the growth and performance of the Oncology portfolio. The role supports markets in shaping portfolio strategy, investment priorities, resource allocation, and operational plans to maximize portfolio value, accelerate growth, and ensure successful execution of key programs and launches. Pan-Tumor Strategy serves as the core focus of the role, with potential to broaden responsibilities across designated tumor areas in line with portfolio evolution and business needs. Main Responsibilities: Drives Results Supports the EEMEA Oncology portfolio through its dual focus of maximizing the current portfolio, while preparing for the next generation of Oncology assets. Drive an integrated Pan-Tumor Strategy, translating customer, market, and competitive insights into portfolio prioritization, lifecycle strategies, investment choices, and long-range planning. Partners with CMO, BUDs and regional/global CFTs in shaping the future Oncology portfolio, driving portfolio integration strategy, lifecycle management, business planning, and sustainable growth across the region. Leads cross-portfolio Financial Planning, Business Case Development, and Strategic Scenario Simulations, generating insights to support portfolio choices, resource allocation, investment decisions, and long-term value creation. Leads Pan-Oncology-Franchise initiatives that translate strategy into action. Strategy Leads integrated 5Y strategy for the portfolio together with the regional cross-functional team. Adapts global strategy to address region specific challenges and opportunities, considering all drivers of product performance (regulatory, policy, medical, market access, marketing) and the strategic shifts toward digital, value evidence, and patient focused customer experience and patient journey optimization. Recommends portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, capability development needs, and multi-country initiatives, coordinating planning efforts across the franchise and across countries within the region. Supports strategic Alliance Management for inline and pipeline assets, aligning regional and global stakeholders to maximize portfolio impact and deliver against alliance priorities. Guides deployment of the L3 framework across markets, shaping country strategies, prioritization, and portfolio growth plans to maximize business performance. Ensures Execution & Pull-Through Leads and aligns the Regional Cross-Functional Team (Policy, Medical, Market Access, HEOR, DD&A, and Communications) to deliver integrated Pan-Tumor priorities, strategic initiatives, and portfolio objectives across EEMEA. Leads above-country EEMEA strategic projects and accelerate the scale-up of high-impact solutions and best practices that support the Oncology strategy, while monitoring execution, progress, and impact. Partners with the DD&A and Digital teams to advance data-driven decision making, AI adoption, and commercial excellence capabilities across markets, embedding analytics into strategic planning and execution. Drives launch readiness, commercial performance, and execution excellence across markets by monitoring key indicators, identifying risks, and sharing cross-market insights to optimize portfolio impact. Ensures consistent pull-through of regional, IC, and Global Oncology priorities through coordinated implementation of strategic initiatives, launch activities, and customer engagement programs, enabling high-quality and aligned execution across EEMEA. Supports BUDs with long-range planning, forecasting and financial plans for Oncology indications/ assets, and support Oncology CMO to pressure test forecast assumptions and iterate with BUDs/MDs Builds Talent and capabilities Coaches BUD’s and BCM’s on marketing, digital, and sales functional competencies, cross-functional teamwork and collaboration, and sales & operations. Deploys training programs & tools to strengthen & develop local capabilities for market development, launch readiness, competitiveness & DD&A. Supports Operations Provides input to Business Development and supports deal execution in collaboration with relevant functions (manufacturing, regulatory, etc.). Supports regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), provides input for global S&OP and supply allocation decisions. Strong Connection with Global Input into global Brand strategy to effectively represent the opportunities and risks of countries in EEMEA region. Lead ongoing updates of the global franchise team on countries status and initiatives such as and not limited to support prioritization of supply and resources needs. Shares best practices / lessons learned with global functions and across the region, and ensures appropriate deployment of customer solutions, commercial innovation, and digital capabilities Experience Needed: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university. Significant Oncology commercial /marketing experience, with a proven track record of translating customer, market, and competitive insights into data-driven strategies, portfolio choices, and business results. Strong strategic planning and business acumen, including experience in financial planning, business case development, resource allocation, and performance management. Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution; leading complex cross-functional and multi-country initiatives to deliver measurable business impact. Experience in digital, omnichannel, analytics, and DD&A-enabled commercial models, with the ability to leverage data and emerging technologies to improve decision-making and execution. Exceptional influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment, strategic decisions, and execution across diverse markets and cross-functional teams. Clear communication skills and proficiency at a business level of English. Experience in engaging with senior external stakeholders and shaping external environment.
