Job Description Senior Medical Science Liaison (Oncology) Job role: Act as a scientific ambassador for our oncology portfolio, bridging cutting-edge research with clinical data gaps. The Senior MSL engages with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), provides non-promotional scientific exchange, and supports medical strategy execution to improve patient outcomes. Primary Responsibilities Scientific Exchange & KOL Engagement Identify, develop, and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals in oncology. Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific information on our companies' oncology products and disease areas. Facilitate advisory boards, CMEs, and scientific roundtables. Medical Strategy & Insight Generation Implement country-level medical affairs plans aligned with global strategy. Gather and synthesize actionable insights from the field to inform clinical development and lifecycle management. Support real-world evidence generation. Launch & Education Support Drive scientific support for new product launches in oncology. Train internal teams (sales, marketing) on disease state and product science. Develop educational content for HCPs and internal stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial teams. Contribute to strategic planning and execution of oncology initiatives. Compliance & Reporting Ensure all activities comply with our SOPs, ICH-GCP, and local regulatory guidelines. Accurately report adverse events and product complaints. Qualifications Advanced degree in Life Sciences (MBBS, MD, PhD or equivalent qualifications). 2+ years experience in Medical Affairs or as an MSL in oncology. Strong knowledge of oncology, hematology and biomarkers Excellent communication and scientific presentation skills. Ability to interpret and discuss clinical trial data confidently. Skills & Competencies Strategic thinking and executional agility. Proven relationship-building with senior clinicians and thought leaders in North India Region Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Understanding of Indian healthcare system and oncology treatment landscape. We are a research-driven biopharmaceutical company.
