The Position Solution Architect with Business Analysis experience – Site SHE & Sustainability Imagine your work giving people more time to be with the ones they love. As a Solution Architect within RDT Group Functions – Site SHE & Sustainability, you design and guide scalable, business-aligned technology solutions. You ensure alignment with enterprise standards, drive architectural decisions, and support the full product lifecycle in complex, multi-solution environments. At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events. Your New Team You will join Roche Digital Technology (RDT), specifically the Engineering Sites, SHE & Sustainability 1 team—a global, cross-functional architecture and engineering community bridging technology and business across the Site Network Sites. Within this sub-function, you will support a portfolio of products including: Site, covering Facility Management & Real Estate, Project Engineering, Logistics, and General Site Services SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) Sustainability Together, these areas enable safe, efficient, and sustainable workplaces across Roche’s global network, leveraging technologies such as IoT and AI while promoting architectural excellence and governance. The Opportunity Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution by translating high-level business requirements into robust, scalable end-to-end solutions. Design end-to-end, scalable solutions aligned with business goals, processes, and enterprise standards. Elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business and technical requirements, ensuring clear alignment between process workflows and system capabilities. Define and evolve architecture including data models, integrations, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs). Ensure architectural consistency and process integrity across complex, multi-solution environments. Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with business process owners, product managers, and IT stakeholders to align on architecture, requirements, and delivery priorities. Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to capture user stories, pain points, and target state business processes. Communicate complex technical concepts and business impacts clearly to influence key decisions at all levels of the organization. Foster knowledge sharing across business domains, product teams, and technical delivery squads. Impact & Strategy Contribute to product vision, value propositions, and technology roadmaps across Site, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) & Sustainability. Conduct business process mapping and gap analyses to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital transformation. Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and the strategic management of technical debt versus business agility. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, business governance, and industry best practices. Technology Selection & Value Realization Lead the evaluation of technologies, vendors, and software based on both business requirements and technical feasibility. Define success metrics and KPIs to assess emerging trends and identify clear opportunities for business value creation. Support pilots, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and user adoption strategies for new solutions. Who You Are 6+ years in IT with a proven track record in a hybrid Solution Architect / Business Analyst role within complex enterprise environments. Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field; architecture/cloud (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure) or BA certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a strong plus. Exposure to industrial/site domains (e.g., facility management, engineering, logistics, SHE, or sustainability) and a solid understanding of their underlying business processes. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical teams. A strategic, proactive, and passionate mindset dedicated to maximizing business value, data-driven capabilities, and optimizing user experience. Strong expertise in requirements engineering, solution design, data architecture, and non-functional requirements (NFRs). Deep understanding of system integration and architecture patterns (e.g., APIs, event-driven, cloud). Hands-on experience working with enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and at least one major cloud provider to solve core business problems. Experience shaping technology roadmaps, defining business cases, and evaluating emerging technologies. What you get: Salary range 19 000 - 35 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract.
