This is an exciting time to join Roche Diagnostics Professional Service team. If you are passionate about problem solving then this is the position for you! Our Professional service team is the primary liaison/customer representative throughout the implementation, Roche solution correlation, and future clinical application support. Includes planning and coordination for the implementation and customer training, as well as problem solving issues that arise for customers throughout the life cycle of the solution. As Application Specialist, you will provide first level application support on site, by phone or remotely to all customers, serving them as subject matter expert. What You Will Do: Customer Training: Conduct high-quality, hands-on training for laboratory personnel on instrument operation, software, and assay workflows. On-Site Support: Assist during the installation and start-up phases of new instruments, ensuring a smooth transition for the client. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Provide expert application support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize laboratory workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Service Engineers and Marketing teams to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and system uptime. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technical updates and medical diagnostics trends. Requirements for the role: University Bachelor degree, preferably in biology, chemistry, biotechnologies, biomedical engineering; Minimum 1-year experience in laboratory practice and/or experience in the use of automated laboratory equipment; Ability to learn Roche solutions (i.e. chemistry, immunology, molecular, life sciences, IT solutions), and stay current with industry trends; Effective written/verbal communication skills as well as project management experience; Effective customer consultative skills, which includes advanced scientific knowledge and analysis, exceptional customer engagement, and fostering of strong customer relationships; Kazakh, Russian, English – fluently & tech-speaking level; Ability to travel often - 50-70%; Can work as a field based individual contributor with independence and autonomy.
