A Supply Chain and Procurement Architect is a Senior-Level IT professional responsible for establishing and driving the technology strategy and vision that enables an optimized Supply Chain from Demand, Supply, Procurement, Distribution & Logistic and Inventory management. This role focuses on strategizing and leading the development of a comprehensive technology roadmap, evaluating, and selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring alignment of IT capabilities with business objectives. This Senior IT leader role, partners across BTS leaders and with business stakeholders to drive a common technology north star. This role also leads solution architects to define a clear long-term outlook on technology, proactively addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities to deliver business value. Responsibilities: Develop and communicate a clear technology vision and strategy for the Supply Chain value stream from Demand, Supply, Procurement, Distribution & Logistics, and Inventory Management. Lead the development and maintenance of the business capability model while driving the solution architects to complete the maturity level assessment of each of the business capabilities from a people, process, data, and technology. Lead the technology roadmap creation and maintenance based on the capability assessment by prioritizing the investment needed including the delivery of a comprehensive total cost of ownership that is aligned to the financial cycles (LRP and Plan) for delivery and execution. Define the framework and standards for which the solution architects will evaluate and select appropriate platforms, and integration technologies. Lead solution architects through conceptual design and logical system architecture that effectively address complex business requirements. Lead the business and IT stakeholders to drive the development of resilient, sustainable, scalable, secure technology vision and its supporting roadmaps. Ensure IT governance, compliance, and security best practices are applied within the architectural domain. Lead Architecture Review Boards for Supply Chain as well as establishing a framework that supports the delivery of a Solution Lifecycle (SLC) process, ensuring architectural standards are met from start to end. Mentor and coach solution architects, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development across the Supply Chain and Procurement technology community. Guide and advocate for current architectural standards, guidelines, and trends across Business Technology Solutions (BTS) and the broader organization. Communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and concise manner to business stakeholders and BTS leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's degree plus10 years’ experience, Master’s degree plus 9 years’ experience or PhD with 5 years’ experience in computer science, engineering or related field. Respective years of experience in Life Science, Consumer Goods or Retail Industry with Supply Chain (including Demand, Supply, Procurement, Distribution & Logistics, and Inventory Management) experience architecting cross-functional and global transformation journeys. 5+ years’ experience leading team of solution architects and technical owners, responsible for delivering the Supply Chain (including Demand, Supply, Procurement, Distribution & Logistics, and Inventory Management) strategy and roadmap, ensuring compliance and best practices through architectural blueprints and standards (e.g., driving application life cycle management, technical debt reduction, etc.) Experience leading large-scale, complex Supply Chain (includes Demand, Supply, Procurement, Distribution & Logistics and Inventory Management) Transformations initiatives (Ex: New Capabilities, Global Implementations, Process Re-engineering, etc.) including end-to end capabilities roadmap assessments, that provides a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for financial management cycle (e.g., LRP, Plan, etc.). Strong proficiency in Supply Chain and Emerging Technologies like Supply Chain Decision Intelligence, Supply Chain Visibility, Control Tower, Command Center, etc. Proven experience as a Supply Chain End to End architect. Demonstrated strong partnership & collaboration skills managing internal & external stakeholders. Demonstrated high level of business understanding & financial acumen. Proven experience presenting & communicating (both written & verbal) with Sr/Executive Leadership.
