Job Description SummaryThe Assistant Financial Controller is responsible for driving technical accounting and controllership compliance, as well as ensuring strong financial and operational internal controls. The role also focuses on process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. It requires a strong understanding of key business drivers and the ability to leverage this knowledge to effectively execute individual responsibilities. Additionally, the role demands a solid understanding of how the team’s work integrates with other functions and contributes to broader organizational objectives. Job DescriptionThe Assistant Financial Controller, TCA will support the financial operations focusing on technical accounting and compliance. This role will assist in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and adherence to company policies and local regulations. Job Responsibilities: Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP and local accounting standards (Turkish / Iran GAAP). Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, particularly those related to technical accounting areas. Participate in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance). Assist with external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Support the tax compliance process, including preparation of tax filings and reconciliation of tax accounts. Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and systems. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as required by management. Ensure adherence to GE's financial policies and procedures. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a multinational company or a "Big Four" audit firm. Strong understanding of US GAAP and local accounting principles (Turkish / Iran GAAP). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is a plus. Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
