Job Description About the job: The Red Hat Brazil Enterprise Sales team is seeking an experienced Government Sales Leader in Brasília. Successful applicants will excel at leading and executing large strategic deals in partnership with our Corporate Account Executives, Pod Leaders, Regional Sales Leaders, and ecosystem of partners. Successful applicants will be comfortable in a player/coach role, bringing their experience to bear in facilitating deals, crafting sales strategies, owning programmatic improvements, and championing the needs of the Enterprise team. They will be seasoned in the art of deal making, partner channel execution and hyperscaler marketplaces. This role will own the holistic success of the Enterprise sales segment in Brazil. This individual must be an inspirational leader who contributes to the overall company strategy, accelerating Red Hat as a diverse, inclusive, and customer-oriented leader in open source innovation. The role demands the ability to work with minimal instruction and lead the resolution of highly complex sales activities and challenges to ensure pipeline and conversion goals are met. What you will do: Translate executive presence and mastery of deal making into large deal growth within the Enterprise Government segment Be a force multiplier by not only personally sponsoring deals but owning the programmatic approach to growing large deals, proliferating best practices, and enabling the field team Articulate the strategic impact and business value of Red Hat’s digital transformation message with C-suite customers, technical teams, partner team members, account executives, pod leaders, and regional sales leaders Identify, simplify, solve, and then validate solutions to problems that are limiting the field organization Represent the region amongst global peers Set the mid-term and long-term strategic direction for the segment and key accounts Demonstrate a high say-do ratio. Set clear expectations for the field. Simplify their work. And hold team members accountable for performance Maintain a high-performing regional management system, implementing consistent operational and financial KPIs. Serve as the escalation point for commercial account approvals and conflicts, including pricing and resource allocation. What you will bring: 10+ years of experience selling software or service infrastructure solutions through partners, with Government industry expertise Record of building and leading high-performing, geographically-distributed, multifaceted teams who outperform targets Experience and history of coaching and mentoring individuals to successful outcomes Ability to analyze data and provide real time feedback on quarterly growth performance, YTD performance and projection of annual attainment Strong analysis skills with ability to translate to tactical and strategic activities to lead individual(s) to successful outcomes.
