Job Overview Reporting to the Business Process Excellence (BPE) Organizations with primary responsibility for Bioscience master data and processes working mainly on IT data transition and integration activities. This may involve working with Operations, Data Integration, and New Product Development teams. The Analyst III, Product Data Management supports and will be accountable for the achievement of data integration goals, drive master data creation for new product introduction and product sustaining, makes recommendations and leads implementation of process improvements, and accountable for all aspects of SAP master data support, data entry, and ongoing data accuracy reporting. The Senior Analyst, Product Data Management also operates with proficiency in the following responsibilities: Prioritization of workload working with Service provider team, provide input on assignment of tasks with expected dates of completion, reviewing completion of tasks, assist in creation and reporting of site metrics and identification of process and metric gaps. The Analyst III, Product Data Management troubleshoots and makes corrective recommendations working with impacted teams and service provider ( both BD and Waters end ) , as well as for indirect reports and other associates throughout the business. The Analyst III, will have responsibility for coordination, oversight, and evaluation of the training of team members according to department and company needs. The Analyst III, works independently and collaborates with the required stakeholders across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Execute end-to-end data integration activities, including BD SAP Everest data extraction, SAP S/4HANA data loads, data transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of master data. Maintains the integrity of the SAP ECC/SCM master data as well as other systems including Halfpipe / PLM application and works with business process teams and/or partners on issue resolution. Actively participates in the Master Data and Enterprise Data Governance teams, working closely with the BPE teams to ensure consistency in master data related initiatives across the Biosciences business. Conducts and coordinates, when appropriate, training of other associates in required techniques, operation of SAP transactions, software applications, and other relevant group or department procedures. Provides training to associates for new business solutions, and training on proper completion of documentation. Assists in development, maintenance and communication of metrics, workflow tools, and reports to ensure accuracy of master data and support continuous improvement. Communicates with and supports regional affiliates as required to resolve product master data issues. Demonstrate to be knowledgeable in all applicable master data staff techniques, operation of relevant software applications and system tools associated with the test and production environment of SAP and/or Halfpipe / PLM, FileMaker or other applications. Responsible for routine, accurate and timely completion of all assignments. Be proficient in prioritization of individual workload and assignments, identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. Drive and execute the master data services team transition plan, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer, operational continuity, and adherence to defined service level Performs regular checks in system to identify master data issues (incorrect material setup, BOMs, Routings, Financial master data, etc.) and works with Master data coordinators and functional SME to correct MD issues in shortest possible time. Establishes traceability of MD issues and records changes made in the system maintaining an active log. Understands business urgency and works through a regular cadence to resolve MD issues in a speedy fashion. Demonstrates willingness to learn other technologies that house business critical master data and takes ownership of all key business applications for MD issues.
