JOB SUMMARY This position offers hands-on experience in EE signal measurement and common DC-DC power applications such as POL converters, eFuses, and hot-swap circuits. The role will also provide exposure to multi-phase VRM solutions, digital power management, and advanced lab validation methodologies used in hyperscale data center platforms. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Support Schematic Support: Read and understand basic schematics, component symbols, power rails, and signal flow. Assist with BOM review and schematic documentation using OrCAD Capture. EE/Power Validation: Senior engineers in executing validation test plans including efficiency profiling, output ripple/noise, voltage accuracy, thermal measurements, etc. Hands-on Verification & Lab Operations Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze test data; draft official hardware validation test reports. Second-Source Testing: Support senior engineers in testing and qualifying alternative components (second-source) to ensure alternative source reliability. Lab Maintenance: Maintain laboratory equipment setups and assist in organizing advanced power debugging instruments. Equipment Learning Focus As part of this position, you will be trained to proficiently operate: Oscilloscopes: For capturing switching waveforms, power-on/off sequences, and ripple voltage. DC Power Supplies & Electronic Loads: Setting up test conditions for static and dynamic load testing. Digital Multimeters (DMM): For high-precision current/voltage measurements. Frequency Response Analyzers (FRA): Introduction to measuring Bode plots for loop stability evaluation. REQUIRED EDUCATION & CRITERIA Academic Standing: Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Core Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of power electronics, circuit theory, analog design, and magnetic components (inductors/transformers). Lab Experience: Hands-on experience with basic lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, Power Supplies) via school projects or lab courses. Software Familiarity: Basic experience with SPICE simulation tools and PCB schematic tools (OrCAD/Allegro) is highly preferred. Language & Communication: Good communication skills in Mandarin and basic English reading/writing skills for reviewing technical specifications and documentation. Soft Skills: Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and a strong team player who enjoys troubleshooting complex problems.
