Job Description: Manage/ Oversee Daily Plant Operations, PM activities and some occasional construction/project activities. Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Oversees, initiates, and ensures a seamless 24x7 plant operation to support manufacturing requirements. Develop and implement a facility management program for Mechanical systems that includes PM calendars, life cycle requirements coupled by the proper documentation. Plan, implement and ensure proper facility equipment, Supplies (Gases, process utilities) and services monitoring are religiously adhered to and documented by the facilities team. Leads trouble shooting and repair efforts for any BM (breakdown maintenance) incidents and prepares the necessary reports/ documentations. Ensures compliance to safety and health codes/standards, statutory requirements, and engineering/ industry standards. This includes coordination with government agencies, park administrations and other governing body that the plant subscribes to. Drives changes, improvements for facilities areas, equipment and current systems to improve operations and efficiency in line with cost savings goals and corporate Environmental programs. Coordinates with internal customers to address facilities related issues, project requirements and any other concerns related to facilities on mechanical systems. Coordinates with OEMs, service providers and contractors for any work requirements mechanical systems/ equipment may have. (PM programs, improvements and upsizing) Helps in preparation and management budget/spendings for operations, maintenance and improvements for facilities systems assigned to. Guides, discipline, and mentor facilities staff reporting under him. Supports plant programs that aims to improve performance, save cost and others (SPC, Factory 4.0 etc) Engages, collaborates and helps in improvement projects, capacity upgrades, efficiency drives and environmental compliances necessary for the mechanical systems. Manages cleanroom environment specs compliance. (Temp, RH and particle counts) Leads capacity gap analysis for mechanical systems. Ensures necessary permits are complied to on a timely manner. (DOLE, PEZA etc) Prepares weekly and monthly consumption reports to account utility spendings and update management on the overall health of the plant facilities. Helps in area management, repair and refurbishments when necessary. Any other task or job related work that is assigned by managers from time to time. Requirements/Qualifications: BS Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering course preferably PRC registered/licensed Engineer. Certified Energy Manager an added advantage. With at least 5- year work experience in semiconductor facilities operations and maintenance. Knowledgeable in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system establishment and implementation Strong MEFP systems and water treatment knowledge is an advantage. Able to interpret engineering plans & designs. Cost estimation and budget management. Strong technical, supervisory, and project management skills. Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus mindset. Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
