This Position reports to: Product Line Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India You will be mainly accountable for: Developing product line specific growth and profitability improvement strategies for region. Setting targets and monitoring product costs and product monitoring. Tracking and analyzing product, system or service performance and trends in terms of volume and profitability Managing new products launches or upgrades and lifecycle from phase-in to phase-out. Coordinating and supervising the product road map Coordinating analysis to evaluate market and contributing to marketing plan development. Developing the market price positioning between product lines and contributing to the regional list price decision-making Ensuring technical and commercial support to Sales force for critical or special negotiations Working with Research & Development (R&D) as well as supply chain management and other functions to propose and evaluate product feasibility projects and roadmaps for new products and variants and products profitability and growth opportunities. Collaborating with internal Marketing and Sales teams to define the marketing plan, including marketing communication activities, training activities and sales initiatives Qualifications for the role Knowledge of Motors and Generators Good Communication Skills, Competition analysis, Process Improvement and Optimization, Product positioning Minimum 5-8 year of experience. Bachelor of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering High motivation and attitude to support organization Experience in JAVA language will be added advantage.
