This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead Your role and responsibilities: Product Security Specialist Role We are looking for an experienced Product Security Specialist to lead secure-by-design practices for our products across on-prem, cloud (Azure), and embedded platforms. The role focuses on SSDLC, application/product security, and security governance aligned with industry standards. This role is contributing to the Motion Business Service Division in Bangalore India. You are responsible for : Own product and application security, including security requirements, secure design reviews, and threat modeling (STRIDE, MITRE, MS TMT/IriusRisk). Define and maintain SSDLC processes, integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, and SBOM analysis in CI/CD pipelines. Manage SBOMs (CycloneDX/SPDX) and perform regular vulnerability assessments using tools such as OWASP DT. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and secure coding practices aligned with OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and IEC 62443. Support GRC activities (ISO 27005, NIST 800-37, SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CRA) including risk assessments. Provide guidance on IAM, network, and cloud security (Azure firewalls, VNETs, NSGs, WAF, Key Vault, VPNs, ACLs, segmentation). Deliver security awareness and secure coding training to engineering teams. Qualifications for the role: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field. 8+ years in IT/Information Security with strong focus on application/product security and SSDLC. Hands-on experience with application security tools (SAST/DAST/SCA/SBOM) and threat modeling frameworks. Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, IEC 62443. Experience with IAM, network security, and Azure security controls. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
