This Position reports to: Product Line Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process by adapting ABB’s products with customer applications to meet their requirements/specifications. Each day, you will select optimized products and technology for adaptation, prepare relevant documentation, and serve as a key technical resource for the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, networking. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India You will be mainly accountable for:Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications. Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries Supports in preparing sales proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new businesses. Keeps track of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities Supports the Application Sales Manager in preparing accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and other sales-related information. Understands customer needs and requirements, and effectively communicates the ability of ABB’s solutions to address those needs. Develops and implements solutions, product packages with their team Collaboration with US Application Team & support them with technical solution. Qualifications for the role Knowledge of Motors and Generators Communication Skills, Process Improvement and Optimization, Product positioning, Competition analysis. 5-8 years of experience in a sales support role - preferred Bachelor of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering High motivation and attitude to support organization More about us ABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes.
