This position reports to: Service Operations Manager __ Your role and responsibilities Project Management Manager leads the Project Management Office (PMO) team within their area of responsibility. Supports project managers in defining, implementing, and applying project management policies, tools, and work instructions. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the ELSE unit in Brno, Czech Republic. Project Management Manager:Oversees project management activities at the portfolio level through project reviews with the management team and project managers. Ensures the professional development of project management team members, keeping them up to date with current and new ABB tools, methodologies, developments, and best practices related to project delivery and consulting. Defines project management goals and deliverables that support business goals Ensures customer retention by delivering a superior customer service experience through project operations. Proposes strategic ideas and recommendations to the relevant management team to drive operational efficiency improvements aligned with guidelines and industry standards. Builds a strong culture of cross-functional collaboration both internally and externally. Serves as an escalation point for individual and systemic project management issues and takes an active role in resolving escalated issues. Defines and drives an efficient and optimized execution process, utilizing relevant ABB operational tools and ensuring their effective implementation.
