Location/Division Specific Information: Specialty Diagnostic Group / MBD Lenexa, KS Thermo Fisher Scientific offers the scale, reach, and mission-driven work to make a meaningful impact. Responsible for labeling, packaging and assembly of all product lines, as well as proficiency testing products. Responsible for adherence to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/ Quality System Regulation (QSR) guidelines, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment What you will do: Complete production assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental schedules. Safely operate various machines, such as the dispensing machine, videojet, sealers, computer, label printer, and label applicator. Work cooperatively and efficiently with coworkers in all departments with little supervision to achieve team, department and company goals. Demonstrate job functions to coworkers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. This includes all assigned equipment. Read, understand and complete required documentation. All paperwork shall be accurately and neatly completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Document accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance. Investigate and remedy, when possible, production failures. Continuously monitor product for defects. Help to maintain quality assurance on your position at all times. Sign off on DHR's in proper places and fill in pertinent information in accordance to SOP's. Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours, working additional overtime as needed.
