You bring deep experience in oncology and have worked across multiple brands and therapeutic areas. You enjoy delving deep into the data to create meaningful messages and approvable claims. You know your way around MLR reviews and feel at home with both internal teams and diverse client audiences. The work: A copy/content leader who has a background in writing for healthcare audiences (both HCPs and the patient/caregiver audience. They understand how to develop content that will capture interest, build trust and work in a highly regulated industry – life sciences and/or health sector. They are collaborative with team members from multiple disciplines, including art/visual design, but also client services, performance marketers, data/analytics, strategy and more. They understand how to create unique content for emerging media and tech (especially helpful in unique healthcare platforms). The ACD, Copy has experience writing/evaluating copy based on clinical product information, can find compelling narratives in clinical data and prescribing information, and can interact confidently with both Life Sciences brand marketers as well as healthcare system/provider and patient audiences. They can easily become familiar with the brand, science, and strategic issues for each project they work on. Experience in multiple therapeutic areas is key. They will also understand how to create content that aligns to our clients’ strategic objectives. They have had a number of years of supervisory experience and are extremely comfortable in front of clients. Key Responsibilities: Participates in strategic and tactical meetings to develop effective campaigns and activations reflecting the clients’ objectives Delves into the data and develops a strong working knowledge of claims and messages Contributes innovative ideas and tactics appropriate to client marketing strategy Brainstorms campaign ideas with colleagues Contributes to thought decks for campaign presentations Plans, develops and writes materials as assigned, working closely with medical colleagues on specific initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives Partners with art direction/visual designers as well as other creative team members to develop engaging materials that maintain a high level of scientific accuracy, compelling campaign creative, and achieve our client’s strategic imperatives Supervises a small team of copywriters Interacts and collaborates closely with clients daily Partners with internal team and provides onsite support at key client meetings or events Attends and participates in MLR reviews as needed (Experience in live reviews is key) Secures references as needed through the appropriate channels to provide full support of all claims within a deliverable and provides clean delivery of reference packets for internal and client teams Collaborates with medical editors to resolve grammatical, content or stylistic errors or concerns Works to tight deadlines and can juggle multiple projects Takes a proactive solutions-oriented approach into all tasks Maintains high standards and ensures only the best work is released to the client Here’s what you’ll need: At least 12 years of conceptual healthcare/copywriting experience, preferably in a health care marketing or communications agency At least 5 years of experience working in the Oncology area on multiple agents At least 5 years of brand launch experience for both HCP and patient audiences A least 10 years of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint At least 10 years of proven organizational and timeline prioritization skills; scheduling flexibility to accommodate work volumes and the ability to manage multiple assignments At least 5 years of experience in strategic brainstorming, campaign development and creative execution writing email copy, advertising (digital, print, banners), brand messaging, web copy, video scripts, marketing collateral Bonus points if: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
