Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description This role develops and leads strategic business relationships with commercial and development clients in Cincinnati, OH, through understanding the client's organization and needs while improving client service and satisfaction. The position builds foundational relationships with business accounts representing high volume and complexity to generate business growth through identifying and developing opportunities and partnering with Sales. DESCRIPTIONHow you will make an impact: You will serve as a strategic partner to clients, managing complex business relationships and driving growth while ensuring exceptional service delivery. What you will do: Develop and manage strategic business relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their organization and business needs while driving action based on company site and network priorities Build client relationships, partnerships, and identify growth opportunities with existing clients Facilitate the execution of portfolio management strategy for a program of clients Drive contract compliance; generate and negotiate new contracts and updates to existing contracts with input from Business Development Executives and site leadership Manage site and operations (S&OP) processes; use business intelligence and client input to drive long-term demand and capacity scenario planning and assist in development of annual revenue budget Drive growth and business expansion through new business pricing strategy development and review, customer and site portfolio reviews, use of Sales Business Intelligence (SBI) data, and collaborating with Business Analysts, Quotes, and Sales team Lead pricing and product profitability through annual pricing updates, identifying sources of leakage, management of services and contract negotiations Establish and lead strategic-level client meetings Provide business input to project team members Support engagement with Customer Allegiance Survey (CAS) processes through follow-up on detractors and management of critical customer concerns Ensure resolution of significant issues with the client through coordination and teamwork of internal functional resources to identify, propose and carry out an efficient plan to settle the issue while protecting company and client's interests and image (i.e., batch production issue resolutions and quality investigations) REQUIREMENTSHow you will get here: Education: Bachelor's degree in science, Business or related field required Master's degree in business or science preferred Experience: Five years of previous related experience in project management, account management, sales or marketing with internal or external client-facing responsibilities Equivalency: Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered Competencies: Some understanding of project management principles is required Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred Able to influence others to reach agreements and adopt a course of action Outstanding communication skills; capable of maintaining optimistic communication with clients and internal customers while leading challenging situations Able to serve as the client advocate while balancing the company's priorities Able to identify market opportunities for new and existing clients/products Experience with budgeting and forecasting is required Highly skilled at conflict resolution and negotiation Location: Onsite Cincinnati, OH
