This role will require 25% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. Candidates would preferably be located within the US Pacific or Mountain time zone to most effectively support our customer accounts. The Senior GCO Corporate Account Manager is responsible for managing enterprise-level relationships with some of the largest and most complex healthcare systems in the United States. This role focuses on driving cardiovascular (CV) portfolio growth across major health systems such as Intermountain, Kaiser, Providence, and other large integrated delivery networks. The position partners closely with health system supply chain leadership, cardiovascular service line administrators, and enterprise contracting teams to develop strategies that expand Medtronic’s presence and strengthen long-term partnerships. Operating within the Global Commercial Office, this role requires a highly competitive, results-driven sales professional who can navigate complex health system environments and influence multiple stakeholders across decentralized decision-making structures. The Corporate Account Manager leads enterprise contracting strategy, aligns internal operating unit stakeholders, and drives adoption of Medtronic’s cardiovascular solutions across transactional health systems with significant revenue potential. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Manage enterprise-level commercial relationships with large integrated healthcare systems, driving cardiovascular portfolio growth and long-term strategic partnerships. Develop and execute strategic account plans that expand Medtronic’s share of cardiovascular business across major health systems and group purchasing organization (GPO) networks. Engage senior supply chain leaders, procurement executives, and cardiovascular service line administrators to align Medtronic solutions with health system priorities. Lead enterprise contracting strategies that strengthen Medtronic’s competitive position while maximizing contract value and revenue performance. Collaborate with operating unit sales leaders, district managers, and field teams to coordinate account strategies across multiple product portfolios and regions. Influence a broad network of internal stakeholders and field sales leaders to align on enterprise account priorities and execute coordinated commercial strategies. Identify growth opportunities across cardiovascular product categories and develop targeted approaches to increase adoption and expand market share. Support negotiations and pricing strategies that balance competitiveness, revenue growth, and long-term customer partnerships. Monitor account performance, track revenue trends, and identify opportunities to expand Medtronic’s footprint within large health systems. Navigate complex, highly transactional health systems by building strong relationships and driving alignment among administrative and operational decision-makers. Provide accurate sales forecasts and opportunity tracking while maintaining visibility into enterprise deal progress and contract performance. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, please ensure the following information is evident on your resume Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience OR An advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and leadership experience Nice to Have: Cardiovascular (CV) medical device sales experience with a proven ability to grow revenue within hospital systems or integrated delivery networks. Experience working with large healthcare systems such as Intermountain, Kaiser, Providence, or other complex health systems with centralized supply chain structures. Familiarity with group purchasing organization (GPO) contracting models and enterprise healthcare procurement processes. Demonstrated success managing commission-based sales roles with significant revenue responsibility. Experience leading strategic account initiatives that require alignment across multiple field sales teams and operating units. Strong negotiation and contracting expertise within large healthcare enterprise agreements. Experience influencing senior administrative leaders, including supply chain executives and health system service line leadership. Background navigating highly transactional healthcare environments with complex purchasing and contracting dynamics. Clinical background or clinical workflow knowledge that supports meaningful engagement with healthcare stakeholders. Leadership potential demonstrated through experience as a high-performing sales representative, emerging sales leader, or manager in smaller markets. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
