The preferred locations are New Jersey sites (Raritan, Titusville), Raynham, MA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, or West Chester, PA. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. For more information, visit www.depuysynthes.com Position Overview and Responsibilities The primary scope of the Senior Financial Analyst role is to serve as a business partner to the Navigation and Joint Recon Marketing teams. The role will focus on the execution and strategy of Digital new product launches and the downstream pipeline, focusing primarily on the navigation platform. The analyst will also support Joint Recon operating expense budgets by providing critical financial insights and influencing business decisions that impact business objectives and proactively provide executive level communication regarding financial results. Drive valuation and early business case generation for acquisitions, partnerships, and internal innovation related to Digital products, primarily those focused on navigation Partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategy through optimizing innovation portfolio, evaluating financial considerations, scenario assumptions, and potential business impacts Provide financial support through key governance milestones, including stage gate reviews and launch excellent reviews Lead business partners through all critical forecasting cycles and actuals reporting related to Joint Recon Global Strategic Marketing budgets and evaluate internal and external risks and market drivers Shape new marketing organizational structure which includes collaboration between global marketing (“upstream marketing”) and individual platforms (“downstream marketing”) Support cross-platform Digital US projects and accounting policies Deliver executive communication regarding business results and financial drivers Provide meaningful insights by challenging business assumptions, developing alternative scenarios and educating business partners on financial issues and concepts The candidate must demonstrate strong financial leadership by providing recommendations for improving the value of the financial information supplied to upper management and providing guidance to business partners Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred. A CPA, MBA, CMA, or other related certification is preferred. A minimum of three years of finance, business experience or related leadership experience is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required. Collaborative and inquisitive style while working with a cross-functional organization with many partners is required. Ability to apply data and strong analytics to influence executive decision making is required. Ability to work independently while collaborating with various levels of management and external customers is also required. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
