The Indirect Channel Specialist supports commercial growth by working closely with distributors and channel partners to expand market presence, improve execution, and drive demand for DePuy Synthes products. This role plays a critical part in enabling channel performance through partner engagement, sales support, and data‑driven insights, while collaborating cross‑functionally with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams. The position offers exposure to commercial strategy execution in a dynamic MedTech environment and provides a strong foundation for career growth within commercial and sales leadership pathways. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of indirect (distributor‑based) sales strategies aligned with regional and country commercial objectives. Build and maintain effective working relationships with distributors and channel partners to support sales growth and customer coverage. Assist with partner onboarding, training coordination, and communication of product, pricing, and promotional updates. Track and analyze channel performance metrics, sales pipelines, and forecasts to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Support the execution of channel programs, incentives, and commercial initiatives under guidance from senior commercial leaders. Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure consistent execution and partner support. Prepare reports, presentations, and insights to support decision‑making and ongoing channel optimization. Act in accordance with Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and all applicable compliance, quality, and business conduct standards. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or a related field). MBA or advanced commercial training preferred. Experience and Skills Required: 0–2 years of relevant work experience in sales support, commercial operations, channel management, or a related business role. Foundational understanding of sales processes, distributor models, or commercial operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, interpret, and present sales and performance data. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally in a matrixed organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Preferred: Exposure to MedTech, healthcare, or regulated industries. Experience working with distributors, resellers, or indirect sales channels. Basic knowledge of CRM or sales reporting systems. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented commercial environment. Other: Languages: Spanish required; English proficiency preferred. Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel to support distributors and commercial activities. Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required for distributor and customer visits, where applicable.
