Job Function: Human Resources Job Sub Function: HR Business Partners Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Zug, Switzerland Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, Executive Talent Acquisition, located in Zug, Switzerland. The Manager, Executive Talent Acquisition (Exec TA) leads and delivers executive‑level recruiting strategies for DePuy Synthes, partnering closely with senior leaders and HR to attract and secure top leadership talent. This role has a direct impact on shaping the future leadership of the organization by ensuring high‑quality, diverse, and values‑aligned executive hires. Based in Geneva, this position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and talent within a global MedTech organization undergoing significant transformation. Key Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end executive talent acquisition for senior and critical leadership roles across DePuy Synthes. Partner with executive leaders and HR to define leadership profiles, hiring strategies, and succession needs. Develop proactive sourcing strategies, including market mapping and direct outreach, to build diverse executive talent pipelines. Manage executive search processes, including coordination with external search firms where applicable. Ensure a high‑touch, confidential, and inclusive candidate experience throughout the executive hiring lifecycle. Provide market insights, talent intelligence, and hiring recommendations to senior stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and data‑privacy requirements. Drive continuous improvement in executive TA processes, tools, and assessment practices. Where required to be managed locally: Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures. Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva. Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience and Skills: Required: Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including executive or senior‑level recruiting. Demonstrated experience managing executive search processes and senior stakeholder relationships. Strong ability to assess leadership capability, potential, and cultural alignment. Proven stakeholder‑management and influencing skills at executive levels. High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information. Experience working in complex, matrixed, and global organizations. Preferred: Experience recruiting in a regulated industry such as MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare. Familiarity with global executive talent markets and diversity‑focused hiring practices. Experience partnering with external executive search firms and assessment providers. Exposure to workforce planning or succession planning initiatives. Other: Language: Fluent English required; additional European language(s) preferred. Travel: Up to ~25%, primarily international. Certifications: Talent acquisition, executive search, or HR certifications preferred but not required.
