Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: Finance Business Partners Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Amersfoort, Utrecht, Netherlands, Diegem, Flemish Brabant, Belgium Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager Intl Finance MSM, located in Amersfoort, Netherlands Job Overview The Sr. Manager Intl Finance MSM is a strategic finance leader responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and performance management across the MSM business including Netherlands, Belux, Portugal and Israel. This role plays a key part in driving business insights, ensuring compliance, and enabling decision‑making through high‑quality financial analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with cross‑functional leaders and shape financial strategies that directly support growth, operational excellence, and transformation within DePuy Synthes. The role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the ability to lead initiatives that improve financial performance and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for MSM & markets operations • Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions, investments, and growth initiatives • Partner with commercial and operational leaders to drive financial performance, profitability, and cost optimization • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies • Oversee financial reporting accuracy, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management • Identify risks and opportunities, developing actionable recommendations to improve performance • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities • Support strategic initiatives including business planning, pricing strategies, and investment evaluations • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration • Collaborate across regional and global finance teams to align with broader organizational strategy Qualifications Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required • MBA, Master’s degree, or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred Experience and Skills: Required: • 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, including financial planning & analysis, accounting, or commercial finance (typically aligned with senior manager level experience) • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance frameworks • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into business actions • Experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders and influencing senior leadership • Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and development • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Preferred: • Experience within MedTech, healthcare, or a regulated industry • Knowledge of regional (Netherlands/EMEA) financial and regulatory requirements • Experience in matrixed global organizations • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and data tools (e.g., SAP, ERP, BI tools) • Track record of driving process improvements or transformation initiatives • Strong project management and change management experience • Experience supporting commercial or market‑facing business units Other: • Language requirements: Fluent in English required; Dutch strongly preferred • Travel: Up to 15% domestic and occasional international travel mainly in EMEA • Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred • For more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness, career and life journey, please visit www.careers.jnj.com.
