This position reports to: Procurement Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: {onsite} You will be mainly accountable for:Conduct export market strategic sourcing and supplier layout for electrical components, low-voltage and high-voltage electrical appliances and complete electrical equipment (E- house, SWGRs, MCCs, Drives, Motors…); research markets, develop, evaluate and manage core strategic suppliers, and build a global electrification supplier portfolio. Collaborate with other Local Business Units to fully understand electrical parameters, technical specifications and certification requirements, and formulate together with BL Global Head of SCM global sourcing strategies. Leads and manage global RFQ, quotation review, multi-region price comparison and business negotiation; lead in depth negotiation and signing long-term framework agreements and annual contracts. Implement global cost reduction plans (TCI/CR) for electrical category, track target achievement, analyze cost structure and continuously optimize global procurement cost. Cooperate with quality and engineering teams to audit inspection standards, product certifications and test reports of overseas electrical suppliers to ensure global supply quality and compliance. Manage and lead relationship with global electrical Chinese suppliers, control delivery lead time, resolve delivery issues, commercial disputes and procurement claims. Research global electrical supply chain trends, market conditions and technical updates, deliver analysis reports and optimize supplier structure and procurement model. Standardize global procurement processes for electrical products, and manage procurement risks, compliance and intellectual property. Qualifications for the roleEducation & Major: Bachelor degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, Electronic Information. Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in global strategic sourcing for electrical products. Familiar with electrical components & complete equipment procurement, experience in overseas supplier development and cross-border project. Language: Fluent in English, capable of English business communication, meetings, contract drafting and reviewing English technical documents proficiently. Spanish is a plus. Interview will be conducted in English. Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical product global standards, safety certifications and industry supply chain; proficient in cross-border procurement, strategic supplier management and framework agreement management. Skills: Proficient in MS Office and data analysis tools; strong capability in cost analysis, quotation evaluation and project coordination. Power BI, Power App and AI is a plus. Competencies: Strategic mindset and strong cost awareness; outstanding communication and problem-solving skills; able to work with overseas teams across time zones, reliable and highly execution oriented. Preferred: Knowledge of international electrical certification standards (IEC, NEMA; GOST, Australian, Chilenean…); existing overseas electrical supplier resources; working experience in large foreign-invested or manufacturing enterprises.
