This Position reports to: Integrated reporting BI Delivery Lead Your role and responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Solution Specialist to lead the development, configuration, and optimization of planning models and reports within the SAC environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and finance stakeholders to design and deliver robust planning solutions that drive accurate forecasting, streamlined budgeting, and effective performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial planning knowledge with advanced SAC technical expertise, ensuring solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with enterprise objectives. The location of the role is in Bengaluru, India. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Finance, Process, Data and Systems in Bengaluru, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Reporting & Planning Model Development Design, develop, and maintain SAC reporting and planning models and stories to support financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements. Requirements Gathering & Implementation Partner with Finance teams (FP&A, Controlling, Accounting) to capture reporting and planning needs and translate them into SAC applications that deliver measurable value. Data Integration & Validation Manage integration between SAC Reporting & Planning, SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and external systems. Safeguard data integrity through rigorous validation and reconciliation processes for both reporting and planning outputs. User Support & Training Provide first-level support to end-users on SAC reporting and planning functionalities. Develop training materials and facilitate sessions to enhance user adoption and effective tool usage. Testing & Quality Assurance Participate in testing of new developments and enhancements. Support validation activities to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of reporting and planning outputs. Documentation & Continuous Improvement Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAC reporting and planning models, calculation logic, and process flows. Identify opportunities for optimization and contribute to ongoing solution improvements. Collaboration & Alignment Work closely with solution architects to strengthen technical capabilities and ensure reporting and planning solutions are aligned with enterprise objectives and strategic direction. Qualifications for the role Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud or equivalent SAP modules are preferred.. Experience: Professional Background 2–4 years of specialized experience in financial planning and performance management, with extensive hands-on expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Advanced Model Development Proficient in building complex SAC models, stories, and input forms. Skilled in designing advanced calculation logic using Advanced Formulas, Allocations, and Data Actions to support driver-based planning, scenario modeling, and predictive forecasting. Technical Integration Experienced in integrating SAC with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and external data sources via Smart Data Integration (SDI) and OData services. Strong knowledge of data modeling, master data management, and currency conversion to ensure consistency across systems. Performance Optimization Skilled in optimizing planning models for scalability and performance, including dimension design, hierarchy management, and efficient use of planning functions. Familiar with multi-version planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis. Financial Planning Expertise Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes, with the ability to translate financial KPIs and reporting requirements into SAC solutions. Experienced in driver-based planning, profitability analysis, and cost center planning. User Enablement & Governance Developed training materials and conducted workshops to improve user adoption. Knowledgeable in role-based security, authorization concepts, and audit trails to ensure compliance and governance.
